Լույս է տեսել «Վէմ» մատենաշարի 6-րդ հատորը՝ Արմինե Հ Տիգրանյանի՝ “THE ARMENIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE OF ARTSAKH Mechanisms for Protection in the International System for Preservation of Heritage” անգլերեն աշխատությունը` 216 էջ ծավալով։
Աշխատությունն առաջիկայում լույս կտեսնի նաեւ հայերեն որպես «Վէմ» մատենաշարի 7-րդ հատոր եւ նախատեսված է լինելու հայկական հուշարձանների պաշտպանության վերաբերյաալ հատուկ դասընթացներ կազմակերպելու համար։
Անգլերենով հրապարակված Արմինե Հ Տիգրանյանի աշխատությանը կցված է վերջին տարիներին Արցախում ավերված հայկական հուշարձանները պատկերող լուսանկարների ծավալուն փաթեթ։ Աշխատության խմբագիրներն են հնագետ-մշակութաբան Համլետ Պետրոսյանը եւ «Վէմ» հանդեսի խմբագիր Գեւորգ Խուդինյանը, թարգմանիչը՝ Զարուհի Արեւշատյանը։
«Վէմ» մատենաշարի հերթական հատորը օտարերկրյա ընթերցողին ու քաղաքական շրջանակներին է ներկայացնում մշակութային ժառանգության պաշտպանության ասպարեզում կուտակված համաշխարհային փորձը, նախորդ տասնամյակների ընթացքում ընդունված իրավական ուժ ունեցող փաստաթղթերը եւ դրանց կիրառման միջազգային պրակտիկան։
Ներկայացնում ենք Արմինե Հ Տիգրանյանի՝ “THE ARMENIAN CULTURAL HERITAGE OF ARTSAKH Mechanisms for Protection in the International System for Preservation of Heritage” աշխատության համառոտ անոտացիան եւ նրա հեղինակի երախտագիտության խոսքը։

The international system for protecting cultural values during armed conflicts, the cases of illegal targeting of the Armenian cultural heritage of Artsakh by Azerbaijan during and after the 44-day war from the perspective of international principles, and certain mechanisms of its destruction and appropriation are examined in the Monograph. The international regulations, as well as legal and humanitarian instruments (international conventions, declarations, resolutions, statutes, customary norms) for the protection of cultural values during armed conflicts, are presented as a defense for the Armenian cultural heritage of Artsakh that has been vandalized by Azerbaijan.
Intended for specialists, state institutions, scientific groups, and students engaged in the conservation of cultural heritage and a wide audience of readers concerned with protecting and preserving the cultural heritage of Armenians of Artsakh.
Author’s Note
The Monograph entitled “The Armenian Cultural Heritage of Artsakh։ Mechanisms for Protection in the International System for Preservation of Heritage” was written after the multiple cases of targeting the cultural values of Artsakh by Azerbaijan during and after the 44-day war of 2020, proposing possible mechanisms for international protection of heritage based on the threat of continuous destruction of unique values of cultural heritage in the occupied territories of Artsakh.
Dedicated and patriotic individuals and various local and international organizations concerned with preserving the cultural heritage of Artsakh supported the compilation of the Monograph, from its conception to implementation.
The implementation of the research and translation works of the Monograph was possible due to the support provided by a grant from the National Association for Armenian Studies and Research (NAASR) and the Knights of Vartan Fund for Armenian Studies.
We express our filial piety to His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, for supporting the publication of the English version of the Monograph and the study of the international system for the preservation of the Christian heritage of Artsakh.
